“Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich continues to earn poor ratings from voters. This month, just 13% of Illinois voters give him good or excellent ratings, while 60% give him a poor rating. Blagojevich ranks as “Least Popular Governor” according to Rasmussen Reports By the Numbers.”

    Yes, but conservatives still have to deal with the political axiom that “You can’t beat somebody with nobody.”, and with their seemingly inexhaustible supply of nobodies. If it’s Blagojevich vs. Box-of-Rocks in ‘10, it’s a sucker’s bet that there’ll be either Blagojevich or Box-of-Rocks in the Governor’s Mansion afterwards. Maybe when the Blagojevich kids go off to college, they’ll be able to take the sheets off the furniture down in Springfield, but I wouldn’t bet on that one either.
